MEET PROFESSOR ALEJANDRO SIQUEIRA

4th Degree Black Belt | Gracie Barra Veteran | World-Class Competitor

Professor Alejandro Siqueira was born and raised in Brasília, Brazil, where he began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu more than 30 years ago. Professor Alejandro is a highly accomplished black belt with over three decades of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and more than 16 years of teaching across Brazil, Australia, and the United States. His depth of knowledge, technical precision, and competitive success make him exceptionally qualified to lead students at every level.

He is a two-time IBJJF World No-Gi Champion in the Black Belt Master Division and a CBJJ Brazilian National Champion in Gi. He has also earned an IBJJF American National Championship in No-Gi and captured titles at major events around the world, including the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, ADCC Oklahoma Open, IBJJF Pan Ams, and numerous IBJJF Open championships across the United States, Brazil, and Australia.

MEET COACH RYAN KAGAY

Ryan brings over 15 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience to Gracie Barra Argyle. A Marine combat veteran and Brown Belt, Ryan began training in 2009 and has been a dedicated student of Professor Alejandro Siqueira since 2012.

As a father of six young children, who train alongside him, Ryan truly understands what families are looking for in a martial arts program. An IBJJF tournament champion, he brings competition experience while creating a welcoming environment for students of all ages and skill levels.

Ryan’s philosophy is simple: jiu-jitsu should build confidence, teach respect and discipline, and most of all be fun. Whether you’re a parent looking for a positive activity for your child or an adult starting your own journey, Coach Ryan is here to help guide you every step of the way.
